About us
Nelspruit Bible Church was planted by Antioch Bible Church (ABC) in 2015, and is currently under their oversight. We are grateful for their partnership in the gospel. NBC was planted at the request of a few families in Nelspruit who were struggling to find an English-speaking church here which believed in the supremacy and sufficiency of God’s Word.
A high view of God and His sovereignty; an understanding that all men are corrupt and rebellious by nature; a belief that God graciously saves people through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit as they turn to Christ and trust Him; a conviction that God’s Word is His sufficient and delightful means of revelation for His people; and the persuasion that the local church exists to glorify God and His glorious grace – by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, growing in Christ-likeness, and demonstrating the love of Christ to each other.
Richard Peskett was trained at The Master’s Seminary under John MacArthur. He is married to Telda, and has two sons, Andrew and Tyler. Richard has a passion for Christ, and for preaching and teaching the Bible — the means by which God graciously saves His people, equips them for ministry, and grows them in Christ-likeness (1 Peter 1:23;2:2; Eph 4:11–16).
